Hey everyone,
I just found this great cool technology out there called jott.com. It’s pretty cool, you can actually simplify life a little bit by getting access to different things via your cellphone like for instance right now this post is going live from my cellphone and it’s being transcribed and posted to my blog just by me talking to my cellphone. Anyways, check it out when you guys get the chance. Talk to you guys later.
Bye. listen

About a year ago I heard of a company called Citizenre which is launching a new idea to bring solar energy to the masses. I often read about how we have an energy crisis. The cost of electricity continues to rise. Coal, nuclear, and natural gas power generation are expensive and pollute the environment. So why doesn’t everyone have solar power on their house? It’s too expensive to do. Nobody is willing to spend $20 - $30k to get solar panels on their house that only produce some of the electricity! Citizenre solves that problem. This little graphic below from the Citizenre website explains it very clearly. I’ll explain in more detail as you read on…

I just got an email from Janel Lyman (trent’s wife) about a friend of their family, Sam. We were at Trent and Janel’s baby blessing of Hanna a few weeks ago and had briefly heard that a good family friend (Sam) was in a serious snowboarding accident.
To date Sam is still in the hospital, paralyzed with a broken neck. He has a young son a few months old. Besides all the trials in their life they also don’t have medical insurance. To quote from Janel’s email,
“I know that you all cannot help out, but you can help out in a very big way….pray for him. I believe that the Lord preforms miracles everyday, and with a little faith from all of us we can all make a difference!”
Visit Sam’s website to read the latest details on Sam and his young family and to donate.

We will keep Sam and his family in our prayers as well!

Trent and Janel Lyman had their little girl on January 9th, 2008. Here is what Trent had to say…
Little Hanna Lin Lyman was born at 4:16 PM. She was 8lbs 2 oz and 21 inches long. Janel came in to be induced at around 10:30 AM and Hanna came a short 6 hours later. Janel only had to pushed for about 10 minutes. Thank goodness for an epidural! I was probably the most uncomfortable one there this being the first time that I was actually present for the birth. Hanna had the cord wrapped around her neck, twice, but came out just fine. Hanna is doing great and barely cries at all. I hope that she keeps it up. Hope you all enjoy the pictures.

Our kids love oatmeal and we eat it almost every day for breakfast. I saw this and thought that it was awesome to have an Oatmeal month. Madalynn is our true blue oatmeal eater as she literally eats oatmeal everyday for breakfast! The first thing she’ll say many mornings is “Oatmeal”
Click the read more link below to read the full story about January being Oatmeal Month. A couple of things we should do is get the 10 cook oatmeal rather then the quick cook… Maddie might have a breakdown waiting that long for oatmeal.
