There is lots of news and media surrounding some key propositions on marriage coming up in this election year around our nation.
The two biggest propositions on marriage are
Both propositions are trying to ammend state constitutions to define marriage as been a man and a woman.
I am in favor of both of these propositions and encourage everyone that values marriage and family to support these propositions. Although I can’t cast my vote in these states I thought I would help spread the word.

This is a nightmare here in California. So many people do not have the perspecitve to understand why this is not about civil rights. How do you argue standing for God when so many distain God and His commandments. I continue to work in the grass root efforts weekly but it is exhausting mentally and spiritually. I can’t wait until election day so we can rest…for a while. This proposition has made the battle between sin and righteousness even more clear for me. Everything I study in the scriptures lately are very relavent to our battle to protect traditional marriage. It does give me strength to have an eternal perspective but its still not fun.

I agree. As I was simply looking around the web at the issues related to marriage this last week it became very clear that the adversary is doing a very good job at trying to paint the picture that those that believe marriage is between a man and a woman are hateful, prejudice and are anything but Christ-like. I wonder if this was how it was when other great ancient civilizations crumbled in sin. Did society demand equality of all ideas (including those that are morally wrong) to the point that society failed because wickedness overcame them. We have a few accounts through-out history where the foundation of society (the family) was destroyed and the end result was the lose of entire civilizations. Sodom and Gomorrah, Rome, The Nephites. Good for you putting up the good fight for what you believe and what is right!
